Chicken Soup for the Soul

Chicken Soup for the Soul is a series of books, usually featuring a collection of short and dense inspirational stories and motivational essays. The 101 stories in the first book of the series were compiled by motivational speakers Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen.

There have been over 200 titles. Many of the books are directed at specific groups of people, such as Chicken Soup for the Mother’s Soul, Chicken Soup for the Preteen Soul, Chicken Soup for the Prisoner’s Soul, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Tough Times, Tough People, Chicken Soup for the Grandparent’s Soul, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Teens Talk Relationships, and Chicken Soup for the Soul: Thanks Dad.

With me, it the gift of me(hotdream1990)… Inspirational  and live. I will post some story talking about it. (Sorry using illegal certificates)

Installing software with RPM

RPM is RedHat Package Manager is system management package. It supported more feature such as : Installing, removing, updating or checking. RPM have database of package installed. So, RPM allow user querying and authentication package in system.

Fix problem login facebook

Some problem when we login web site facebook.com . Maybe just see in Vietnamese. DNS Vietnam forbid resolve domain name to IP. We fix it without using proxy.

Idea: using DNS local

Step 1:

Edit file : C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Step 2:

Insert code below:

125.252.224.88 facebook.com

 

125.252.224.88 www.facebook.com

 

153.16.15.71 apps.facebook.com

Step 3:

Run web site again and enjoy!!!

Permission in Linux

Linux is the operation system that is multitasking and multiusers. System allows many users that login and using. Two things : permission for own file, data in partition and sharing system resources such as memory, CPU, RAM. Question is how to grant permission for these users

In Linux, file and folder always package to .tar or .gz or .tar.gz . Install package usually packing follow this way. With Linux administrator, we need to know that thing.

Gzip use to compress file and gunzip use to extract(decompress) package.

Hard link vs symbolic link

Hard link and symbolic link is the easy way to make file from one file logical.

Example: we have one data. But, we need two link linking to there. Hard link and symbolic link will do it. We’ll economize the memory.

Configuration DHCP in linux

DHCP is Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.

DHCP the service to issue the dynamic IP network. Computers that are connected to networks must be configured before communicate with other computer. DHCP allows configured automatically.

DHCP uses two port :

  • Port 67 / UDP for client sending to server
  • Port 68 / UDP for server send data to client

Why do use UDP packets in DHCP? Because, Client will sending broadcast UDP packet DHCP discovery to DHCP server. In the same time, client couldn’t know who is DHCP server. When server get the message, but client doesn’t know he. Server have to send UDP packet in port 68 and waiting for client get it.

DHCP have four step: DHCP discover, DHCP Offer, DHCP request, DHCP acknowledge

RMI – Not friendly with NAT

Sorry, I’m very sad when talking about it. But, we can’t developed RMI in Internet’s Environment. RMI couldn’t worked when the lines have some NAT routing. Simple meaning, NAT has supporting some protocols , such as: TCP, UDP,ICMP … But, it doesn’t supporting RMI protocol.
